Abstract | “我”的觀念是古印度哲學討論的基本問題。印度最早提出系統哲學思想的奧義書,就將其作為論述的中心。印度後 世主要哲學派別的根本經典也對“我”提出了種種看法。婆羅門教和耆那教哲學的主要經典持有我論,佛教和順世論的主要 文獻則基本持無我論。但無論是有我論還是無我論都有不同的表述,具體內容實際有種種差別。探討分析這方面的內容,對 於在總體上把握印度哲學的核心思想,認識東方文化的特色,具有積極意義。
The concept of Atman is the basic issue studied in ancient Indian philosophy. The Upanisads which put forward earliest systematic philosophical ideas in India take it as the focus of the discussion. Apart from that,the basic classics of later Indian philosophical schools also propose a variety of opinions about the concept of Atman. The main philosophic classics of Brahmanism and Jainism hold that Atman is existent while the literatures of Buddhism and Lokayata consider it as non- existent. However,there are different expressions and contents both in the theory of Atman being existent and the theory of Atman being non-existent. Therefore,it is of vital importance to grasp the core thoughts of Indian philosophy and understand the characteristics of oriental cultural on the exploration of the concept of Atman. |
