Abstract

晚明江南士紳階層熱心參與各類地方公共事務，佛教事業就是其中的重要內容之一，而方志、家譜和文集則是研究這一專題不可或缺的史料。萬歷年間因慈聖皇太后成功補刻《永樂北藏》續藏，全國上下再次掀起請藏之風。南直隸常州府宜興縣法藏寺萬歷入藏《大藏經》一事，因清代文獻的缺失而長期湮沒。而宜興濟美堂吳氏族譜中保存的吳春枝《法藏禪寺萬人緣碑記》一文，不僅還原了這一事件的基本過程，而且提供了江南大族如宜興吳氏及權臣周延儒等諸多信息，實為了解晚明宜興地方社會中士紳與佛教、社會之間關系的重要資料。
