| Abstract | El Budismo de la Tierra Pura ha sido objeto de numerosas críticas provenientes del mundo occidental por la similitud de sus principios con el cristianismo. Sin embargo, a partir de la reconstrucción de su lógica interna, observamos cómo la "Tierra Pura" aparece como otro ejemplo de la crítica al mérito, una expresión de la misma noción de dualidad y de la vacuidad de la forma que los occidentales consideran tan importante en otros tipos de budismo. Pero esto sólo puede explicarse a partir de la forma en que los procesos simbólicos y narrativos fueron interpretados mediante prácticas de fe y esperanza, y no como una consecuencia histórica o filosófica.
The Pure Land Buddhism has been the object of several critics proceeding from the Occidental world, due to its similitude with Christianism. Nevertheless, from the reconstruction of its internal logic, we can see how the "Pure Land" appears as another example of the critique of the merit, an expression of the same notion of duality and of the vacuity of the shape consider important in other kinds of Buddhism. But this can be explained from the shape of the symbolic and narrative processes were interpreted by practices of faith and hope, and not as a historical or philosophical consequence. |
