| Abstract | 自古以來，入滅盡定是僧團內部討論的熱點問題之一。但學界對入此定高僧本身 狀況的探討，尚不多見。尤其是高僧入滅定與彌勒下凡之間關係的研究，更付闕 如。本文擬從歷史上被發現的入滅定者入手，通過相關史料的發掘、分析與解讀， 揭示出許多高僧之所以採取這種特別的入定方式，實際是為了等待彌勒下生之 後，達到成佛的目標。由於入定者本人對彌勒題材的高度敏感性，故採取隱秘不 宣的做法，又使得高僧入滅定以俟彌勒這一史實長期以來不為人所知。
Since ancient times, Nirodha-samāpatti has been one of the hot topics discussed within the monastic community. However, few study is carried out on the status of eminent monks who are said to have entered into such meditation state in contemporary scholarship. Especially, the research on the relationship between the Nirodha-samāpatti of eminent monks and the Descendance of Maitreya is even more scarce. This article aims to examining such meditators in history, and through the critical studying, analysis, and interpretation of relevant historical materials, revealing the fact that many eminent monks adopted this special way of meditation actually for the purpose of waiting for the descendance of Maitreya so that they could achieve the goal of enlightenment. Largely due to the high sensitivity of the meditators to the Maitreya believing, they adopted a secret and undisclosed approach. By doing so, the phenomena that the eminent monks entered Nirodha-samāpatti in waiting for the descendance of Maitreya became unknown for a long time. |
