This article offers an annotated translation of Majjhima Nikāya discourses 82, 86, 87, which contains 82. Raṭṭhapāla Sutta: On Raṭṭhapāla; 86. AՉgulimāla Sutta: On AՉgulimāla; 87. Piya-jātika Sutta: Born from Those Who Are Dear. The Pali text is mainly based on the Pali Text Society’s edition and the Burmese edition, with reference to the Ceylonese and Siamese editions, whichever is appropriate. The text of the translation is divided into appropriate sections (and paragraphs) with numbering and section headings for ease of citation and reading. |
