| Abstract | 近代中國佛教最早的組織形態是 “佛教學務公所”，它的產生標誌着中國佛教組織近代化轉型的開始，這表現在兩個方面：一方面其組織價值定位轉向重塑中國佛教的社會角色；另一方面，其產生過程與組織架構呈現兼顧僧俗的特點，組織功能體現出公共化特徵。它刺激了中國佛教主體意識的覺醒，協調了 “廟產興學”運動下的僧俗緊張關係並遏制了這一時期依附日本佛教的風氣，維護了中國佛教教權的獨立。 |
