Abstract《楞嚴經》從輪回和成佛的主體問題出發,確立了代表“真心”的清凈如來藏和因“妄心”而生的世間萬法的二元結構,並通過“性真相妄、依真起妄”基本理論模型將二元回歸於一元。這使得《楞嚴經》對如來藏的闡發有了更深入的推進,但同時也使《楞嚴經》的如來藏理論在形式上更加類同於印度傳統梵我論。在當代批評者的語境里,如來藏和梵我論都屬於某種本體論,從而趨於一致。但通過將佛教與康德哲學中現象、物自身等概念對比,可發現佛教並不先天反對本體論,二者反而有相互融攝的可能。雖然,《楞嚴經》在發展如來藏理論的進程中,無意中讓自身更符合本體論範式,但同時又花了大量篇幅批判了將如來藏和梵我論等同的論調。這一批判是為了維護自身,批判的重點集中於緣起論和自然外道。從中不難發現,《楞嚴經》與此前如來藏系經典在義理上一脈相承。
