| Abstract | 佛教自東漢傳入中國後，經過兩千余年的發展，其義理深深融入中華文明，深植於中國人的精神血脈之中。在佛教的中國化進程中，如晉代的道安、慧遠，姚秦時代的鳩摩羅什，唐代的玄奘、道宣、惠能等高僧大德發揮了巨大的關鍵性作用。而隋代的智顗（538—597）也是其中的一位——他是第一個最具中國特色的佛教宗派“天台宗”的實際創立者，被譽為“東土小釋迦”，世稱“天台智者大師”。 |
