| Abstract | 宏覺寺位於青海省西寧市，距今已有1000多年的悠久歷史。據《西寧新府志》載，寺廟修建於明洪武二十三年（1390），原名“妙華庵”。但是在更早時候的公元7世紀，文成公主進藏時，曾在寺廟原址修建一處土壇作為釋迦牟尼佛等身像的供奉寶座。公元941年，喇欽·貢巴饒賽在此土壇上著手創建寺廟。北宋時期，宗喀王唃廝啰建立吐蕃政權，築成青唐城，將寺廟供奉為家廟，因此有“先有宏覺寺，後有青唐城”之說。 |
