Abstract 有部主張欲界無表必依表業引發,而在三業中,也唯有「身無表」、「語無表」,沒有「意無表」。然在有部為證明「無表實在」的經證中,卻出現了「無依」無表一詞,是否欲界無表不一定要透過表業引發?在重新理解「欲界無表必依表業」的義涵時,也顯出無表色別具另一種作用。其次,「無表色」為色法,有色之體必隨生命之終結而告中斷,不能生生世世串習相續過渡至來生,它對有部的修道論有何意義?這也與有部賦予無表業功能有關。再者,滅入過去的無表,也具有招感果報功能,卻不能與經部思種子功能等同。經部將感果的責任完全歸給思種子,但有部為解釋業因與業果的前後移轉所提出「異熟因果,俱通五蘊」之教義,已明示無表業並非業因和業果中間的連繫功能,也不是招感異熟果的唯一業因。它在引業、滿業的招感中,有時擔任引業異熟果報的圓滿助因。若缺少無表業,則根本業道的引業終不能順遂的招感果報。
