Abstract中國佛學的本體觀念與世界上大多數哲學都不相同 ,它是一種非本體的本體論。它以緣生為理論基礎 ,否定外在的本體 ,並以性空為實相 ,順化而為實相非相的本體論。建立在緣生基礎上的因果論 ,多因多果以及因果無限延續 ,不僅凸現了非本體的傾向 ,而且置因果必然性於條件偶然性的架構之中。相對主義與虛無主義之辯 ,進一步說明非本體論超二元對立的思維基礎。言不可言之趣 ,說不可說之理 ,則是佛家非本體的本體詮釋的一般方法。

Chinese Buddhist philosophy has an ontology which is actually anti ontological, making it different from most other philosophies in the world. It takes the twelve nidanas as its theoretical basis, repudiates external ontology, treats the immateriality of the nature of all things as the absolute fundamental reality and further evolves into an ontology that advocates that Reality is Nullity.
