| Abstract | 茗山法師(1913-2001),俗姓錢,名延齡,江蘇鹽城人,太虛法孫。自幼隨父學習儒家經史。因家貧,未能進新式小學讀書。1932年依建湖羅漢院釋宏臺出家,后在鎮江焦山定慧寺受戒,并入焦山佛學院學習。1935年,太虛至鎮江講經。茗山早在出家時已聽宏臺講,太虛乃當代最有道德學問的高僧。這時聽說太虛來鎮江,立刻渡江,奔太虛駐錫的太平寺拜見太虛。 |
