| Abstract | 佛教學術研究的根本意義，不僅是瞭解存在於一定時空中的佛教發展形態，而且更是從現存的文獻、文物中，去偽存真，去粗取精，探索其前後延續，彼此關聯的因果性；從而更清楚地認識到佛法的本質，及其因時、因地的適應。以瞭解過去，承受根本的佛法特質，作為我們信行的基礎，這也是非常有意義的事情。中國佛教協會第七屆代表大會便提出要契理契機地弘揚“人間佛教”思想，其中一項重要內容便是“以文化闡揚佛法，佛教文化是中國傳統文化的重要組成部分，契理契機地以文化闡揚佛法是實現佛教中國化、本土化、現代化的權巧方便。”現代中國佛教界，應該認真地認識學者們的新觀點，吸收其中的有用之處，通過轉化與變通，仍然能夠落實到佛法的信仰與實踐，佛教才具有更大的潛力。 |
