Abstract佛教認為,素食出健康,飲食的葷素與多少,都與的健康有直接聯繫,有些疾病,是由葷食引起的,可以通過素食,得到預防和醫治。這一飲食觀念,符合現代營養學理論,據世界健康組織研究結果證明,人們每天所必須的四種物質:奶類,蛋白質,穀類及蔬果類,都可以從素食中獲得,同時,素食者會增強人的腦力,大腦細胞的養分主要是麩酸,維生素B氧氣等,食物中以穀類及豆類含麩酸,維生素B最多。所以許多高僧因為素食,不僅思維敏捷,且與常人相比,智慧與判斷力都更有優勢。
