| Abstract | 莊子與僧肇的人生觀分屬傳統道家哲學和大乘佛教哲學，兩者之間有本質的差別，莊子在人生價值取向上主要追求的是個體精神自由，僧肇則繼承了大乘佛教「自覺覺他」、度化眾生的理想。兩者不同的人生價值追求在處世觀、理想境界、理想人格等方面均有相應的體現。由於大乘佛教本身具有關注現實人生的特徵，加上僧肇有意識地吸收融合老莊玄學的思想內容，因此，僧肇人生觀中的共同點也是多方面的。僧肇哲學站在般若中觀學說的立場上，承續了魏晉玄學的理論主題和體用一如的思維意向，並從思想理論的許多方面對兩種思想資源進行了融通，在推進魏晉玄學向前發展的同時，對佛教的中國化和中國哲學的發展趨勢具有導向作用。
The view of life of Zhuangzi belongs to Taoism philosophy and that of Seng Zhao belongs to the multiply Buddhist philosophy, there is the difference of essence between both: On life pursue, what Zhuangzi pursued is individual spiritual freedom, and Seng Zhao had inherited the ideal of multiply Buddhist on awaking all living creatures. The different life pursue between both has corresponding embodiment in the aspects such as worldview, behavior models, ideal extent reached and ideal personality. on the station of outlook on life of Madhyamika, the philosophy of Seng Zhao absorbed and f used t he thoughts of Zhuangzi and Wei-Jin metaphysics, and have moved forward the development of Wei–jin mtaphysics and Chinese philosophy.
