| Abstract | 婆羅門教和佛教是印度古代的兩個主要宗教。兩教關於“神”的觀念有重要不同。婆羅門教的主流思想認為存在著一個作為世間一切事物根本因的神，而佛教則通常認為事物是緣起的，不存在實在的作為本體的最高神。兩教的神觀念與其各自理論體系的基本傾向一致，也與印度古代不同社會階層間的衝突直接相關。
Brahmanism and Buddhism are two main religious sects in ancient India.The god concepts of the two are quite different.The main theory of Brahmanism holds that there is a god that acts as the basic cause of all the things in the world.But Buddhism usually holds that things are mutually dependent,and there is not a real god that can act as noumenon.The god concepts of Brahmanism and Buddhism are consistent with the main tendency of the two theoretical systems,and are also in close connection with the contradiction between the different social strata in ancient India.
