Abstract關於近代以來太虛法師倡導的人生佛教和此后他的學生印順法師進而提倡人間佛教的曆史和理論問題，近年兩岸四地的教內外學者做了很多研討，發表的論文也很多。筆者也寫過這方面的文章。1因此，這裡不擬對這個問題再做論述，想直接從新世紀中國佛教的使命入手，對人間佛教與佛教的社會關懷問題提出自己的見解，向諸位請教。
