Abstract佛教是第一個融人中國古代社會的外來宗教，也是第一個融人中國傳統文化的外來文化。它在中國持續流傳了二千多年，至今仍然生氣勃勃，看不出有什麼衰相。人們對它的評價，是是非非，從古至今就沒有定論，也不一定要個定論，但現在，至少已不會有人拒絕承認佛教是中華文明的組成部分了。這一現象，頗能說明中華文化的一些特色，對於我們今天的認識，也會有所啟發。
