| Abstract | 佛教經籍的目錄，起源甚早。自東漢佛教傳入中國，經典的翻譯隨之而興，譯籍日富，部帙日增，不同的譯本也不斷出現。弘法之士為了綜理存佚，研核異同，創制目錄，用來「別真偽，明是非，記人代之古今，標卷部之多少」（見《開元釋教錄》卷一），於是佛教的經籍，乃有典可證；並且於漢籍四庫之外，別具傳承，自顯特色，在目錄學的領域中，而獨樹一幟。
