Abstract敦煌寺院的"唱衣"制度,相當于現代的拍賣,它來源於佛教律藏的有關規定,即僧侶圓寂後,其衣物等便分給別的僧眾。當分配不均時,可能就採取競賣的辦法,將亡僧的輕物變賣,然後由僧尼均分錢財。敦煌寺院所唱賣的全是衣物。"唱衣"不是某一個寺院的單獨活動,而是整個敦煌教團的集體行動。唱賣所得也不是貨幣,而都是麥粟、絹帛、布疋等實物。

The Chang-Yi institute of Dunhuang Temple was analogous to modern auction.It is rooted in Buddha torah,namely,the monk s clothings were dealt out to other monks after his death.When uneven distribution occurred,the hangovers of the died monk were sold off and then the earnings of the auction were dealt out to monks evenly.The Chang-Yi of Dunhuang Temple were all clothings.The Chang-Yi was not only in one temple but in Dunhuang Buddhism team.The earnings of auction was not money but the wheat,millet,silk,clo...
