Abstract本文以物不遷論為中心,闡述僧肇之形上思想,由即動即靜之理,說明境不遷,時不遷,因果不遷以證「物不遷」之論。首就現象之變遷而論證其「物不遷」之形上意旨,一般人皆認為萬物有生滅之化,四時有寒暑之變,一切遷流不止,僧肇引經據論,依變以明不變,藉動以明不動,由般若空觀論證萬物無所來去之理,並明示「物不遷」乃「即動而求靜」。復依般若經典「法無來去」之意,闡述「昔物不至今」作為「靜而非動」之論據,僧肇以為昔者自在昔,今者自在今,故今古不相往來,其間並無連續性,強調「古今常存」「各性住於一世」,此即「時不遷」。又僧肇就兩項事物之從屬關係以論因果之相對性,否認因果之必然性,從而否認事物之恆動性與變化性,其目的在論證現象事物均虛幻不實,惟有寂靜之精神本體真實無偽。
