| Abstract | 1947年2月,斯里蘭卡人民獲得獨立。長達數百年的殖民枷鎖終于被斯里蘭卡人民砸碎,民族贏得徹底解放,為恢復和發展傳統的宗教文化提供了契機和保證,佛教民族主義思想與活動大規模展開。斯里蘭卡的民間與政府、僧界與俗界都對佛教在現代世界復興傾注了熱情,特別是民間在世界上首先致力于復興運動的開發,起了一個先鋒隊的作用。
In this part of the article the author writes about the major events in the development of Buddhism in Sri Lanka since the country’s independence and makes a comment on the so-called "Buddhist socialism" |
