Divided into three parts, the Hindu system，Buddhist philosophies and Chinese philosophies, the book introduces students to the major philosophical traditions of Asia. Much of the text has been revised，with new chapters on the Vedas, Hindu theism，the continuing Hindu tradition，and recent Chinese thought. The chapters on yoga and Zen contain much new material. There are study questions and a brief annotated bibliography at the end of each of the 21 chapters. |
