Abstract本文以Peirce的美學觀點作為參考架構,而依《俱合論》之義理,大體例示了重構佛教美學的幾個面相暨線索,並且在討論過程,也簡要說明了緩和佛教的反美學與系統美學之間衝突的可能,間以Schopenhauer的藝術哲學觀對照說明一般性佛教美學(別理美學)的重構旨趣,進而凸顯可能圓滿的佛教美學觀(勝義美學)。最後,依《俱合論》提示之線索,嘗試鉤勒出深層的佛教美感形上學特質 :(1)無執之美; (2)超越的淨化論;(3)作為「藝術」之本質的rasa;(4)形上美學的轉化。本文已然揭示以《阿毘達磨俱舍論》為進路,已足以重構原始佛教圓滿的美學觀。

With Peirce's conception of aesthetics as a frame of reference, and the doctrine of Abhidharmakosa-Sastra as the starting point, this essay develops some aspects and clues which could be applied for the reconstruction of an Aesthete of Buddhism. It tries to clarify mitigate the possible conflicts between anti-aesthetics and systematic aesthetic.
The deep aesthetic significance is further explored through a discussion of the two theses of Nltãrtha-aesthetics and na neyãrtha-aesthetics. Finally, the distinguishing feature of the Aesthetics of Buddhism lies in certain characteristics of aesthetic metaphysics, which could be expressed as : (1) "wu-chih" Beauty; (2) transcendent purgation and purification; (3) rasa as the essence of Art; (4) the transformation of metaphysical aesthetics. Abhidharmakosa-Sãstra is shown to be able to provide an approach for the reconstruction of a Buddhist "perfection-aesthetics," which incorporates the ideas of
"k'ung (emptiness)" and "yu (being)."
