| Abstract | 在敦煌發現唐代禪宗文獻中，與五祖弘忍有關者為數不少，其中《歷代法寶記．弘忍傳》內容豐富，史實與傳說雜陳，頗有探討的必要。本文首先以敦煌發現的8種寫卷互校，整理出一個較可信從的本子。指出該傳意在褒南宗，揚劍南禪，而貶抑北宗，故有意篡改弘忍十大弟子的名次排列，以提高惠能、智詵的地位，而降低神秀、玄賾的地位與影響。認為傳中對弘忍事跡的記述似有與四祖道信相混淆處，誤將道信吉州退敵之舉移植於弘忍身上。此外，該傳對弘忍卒年的記載及唐高宗曾召請過弘忍等記載，都是禪宗史上不可不辯的大事，應進行具體的分析。 |
