Abstract本論文討論如何將知識庫系統導入數位圖書館/博物館的建構中. 綜觀數位圖書館/博物館的發展歷程,第一個世代的數位圖書館/博物館是將大量的內容資料予以數位化,並建構有效的管理機制與檢索系統. 這個世代的數位圖書館/博物館若由資訊層級的角度予以定位,可以說是提供資料層級的服務. 這可以由其所提供的檢索功能來觀察. 其檢索系統基本上是以使用者所輸入的關鍵詞為依據,在全文檔或詮釋資料檔中找到相符的字串,而後將相關的資料取出. 這類型的檢索系統無法回答如 "玄奘到過印度哪些地方" 等知識性的問題. 因此之故,在下一個世代的數位圖書館/博物館的建構中,引進知識管理的功能便成必然的發展方向之一. 本論文討論如何以 Topic Map 為基礎,建構一個具知識管理功能的數位圖書館/博物館. Topic Map 是為建構知識管理系統所發展的一套方法論. 在 ISO/IEC 13250 中對 Topic Map 的定義為「Topic Map 是一套用來組織資訊的方法,使用這個方法可以提供最佳的資訊導航」. 其目的就如在地理資訊系統裡衛星導航所提供的功能. Topic Map 將所有可能的物件,例如:人,事,時,地,物等,不論此物件是一具體存在的物質或抽象的概念,皆統稱為主題. 從描述一主題本身的屬性開始,進而組織與此主題相關的所有資源,對這些資源進行定位,最終將所有相關的主題,依據彼此間的關係及相對與該關係的角色,建構出一資訊主題地圖. 在本論文的研究與實作過程中,我們採用 UML (Unified Modeling Language) 表示法來分析知識管理系統的架構,使用 XML (eXtensible Markup Language) 格式來進行數位化資料的內容標誌,並依據 XTM (XML Topic Maps) 的建議,來建構一個有效組織與明確呈現知識的結構化知識管理模式,以便於儲存,取得與推演知識,達到知識分享與知識創造的最終目的.


This paper discusses how to use the databank system in the construction of digital library/museum. In the developmental process of digital library/museum,the first generation is to make the large amount of information digital,and to construct an effective management mechanism and index system. From the viewpoint of the level of information to position,the digital library/museum of this generation provides the service of the level of information. This can be observed from its index function. Its index system,fundamentally,bases on the key words input by the users to retrieve the relevant information from the corresponding word chain found in the whole text file or interpretative information file. This type of index system cannot answer the questions of knowledge such as "Where in India had Hsuan-Tsang ever go?" So,in the construction of the next generation of digital library/museum,the introduction of the function of knowledge management becomes one of the would-be developmental direction. This paper discusses how to base on Topic Map to construct the digital library/museum with the function of knowledge management. Topic Map is a method constructing knowledge management. In ISO/IEC 13250,Topic Map is defined as a set of methods to organize information which can provide the best information navigation. Its function is similar to missile navigation in a geographical information system. Topic Map calls all the items such as person,thing,time,place,object and so on,no matter whether it is a concretely existent material or an abstract concept,such as a topic. Starting from describing the attributes of a topic itself,organizing all resources relevant to this topic,positioning these resources, Topic Map finally constructs an information topic map according to the relationship of the relevant topics and their roles arising from the relationship. In the research and operational process of this paper,we use the UML (Unified Modeling Language) expression to analyze the frame of knowledge management system,XML (eXtensible Markup Language) form to make the content labels of digital information,and the suggestions of XTM (SML Topic Maps) to construct an effectively organized and definitely knowledge presented "structural knowledge management model" in order to store,retrieve and extend knowledge. In this way,we can the goal of knowledge sharing and knowledge creation.
