Abstract | 陳那. 法稱等印度大乘佛教中. 後期思想家嘗試就知覺理論. 邏輯及語言哲學等領域著書立論,建立了佛教自身的量論體系,並批判印度教量論學者的相關理論. 問題是:量論所探討的主是世俗知識,這同解脫這印度宗教家共同的終極關懷又有什麼關連呢? 本文嘗試探討此問題,文中先論述印度量論的起源,並探討佛教量論的主見地. 其次就佛教量論學者以「佛陀為量」一觀點進行探討,梳理出此觀點所隱藏的意含. 最後,作者自佛教知覺理論. 邏輯及語言哲學等視野抽絲剝繭,以證成「量論研究可作為宗教實踐的初階」一主張. Dignaga and Dharmakirti are the establishers of the Buddhist pramana theory,which includes theory of knowledge,logic and philosophy of language. They propounded the theory while leveling criticisms against the rival theories of Hinduism.The problem is that as a pramana theory mainly concerns worldly knowledge,one wonders how the theory is pertinent to nirvana or liberation as the object of ultimate care for Indian Buddhists. This paper is intended to investigate into this issue. It discusses the implications of the Buddhist claim that the Buddha is a pramana-bhuta, one who is the personification of the means of knowledge. Towards the end of the paper,the author seeks to show that a study of the theory does pave the way to higher religious practices. |
