Abstract | The author agrees with much that Asanga has said. It is in line with his interventions throughout the conference (Buddhism and Conflict in Sri Lanka) which have pointed both to the moral tensions facing those in the midst of the conflict and to the gap that exists between theoretical Buddhist approaches to war and realities on the ground in Sri Lanka.
