| Abstract | This introduction identifies several factors that have contributed to the lack of attention given the subject of emotion by Euro-American scholars of South Asian Buddhism. It then highlights a number of similarities and differences in the approaches adopted by Maria Heim,Andy Rotman, and Stephen C. Berkwitz in their articles and concludes by suggesting some additional questions that invite further exploration. |
