| Abstract | 禪宗是最具中國特色的佛教宗派，對中國的思想、文化、歷史，曾產生過非常深刻的影響，故備受中外學者的重視，在此領域湧現出許多豐碩的成果。其中，葛兆光著的《中國禪宗史》一書，就是一部頗為引人注目的力作。主要有以下幾個特點：
其一，方法先進，思路明晰。
其二，材料翔實，考辨精審。
其三，觀點新穎，富有創見。
第四，語言優美，可讀性強。
