| Abstract | 兩千年來，以中印文化為主的東方文明，光耀世界，它是淨化人心、指導人們履行正道的燈塔。從近代開始至今，隨著西方科學的發展，物質文明日新月異，使人們眼花繚亂﹔各大國軍備競賽，核彈、導彈的製造，互競優勢，致戰爭潛伏，威脅和平。在此時期，人們精神空虛，前途悲觀。於是，東方佛教文化提倡的淨化心靈、明因識果、止惡行善，儒家提倡的誠意修身、維護人倫道德、實現和諧相處，作為人們提高理性，維護社會秩序及世界和平的指導思想，日益顯其重要。
