Abstract面對變化激烈的近代中國,許多知識分子選擇了佛教,並以之作為其思想創建的資糧或生命的關懷。這一選擇曾經促成了近代中國文化思想的一大進步,但在佛教與基督教之間的對話卻被忽略。基督教遭受到那些信奉佛學的知識學人的批判。在即將來臨的廿一世紀,佛耶兩教間的對話,對於新世界秩序的重建將有重要作用。東西方的知識學人對此不應再忽略。
