| Abstract | “自由”一詞在禪宗典籍中出現的頻率很高,這一事實表明了禪宗對自由的高度重視。禪宗的根本精神就是自由,即建立人的真正主體性,實現人的本然性存在。禪宗的自由精神既表現在它的根本理念和原初追求上,也表現在它的求道方式和生活風範上。弘揚禪宗的自由精神對中華民族的自由有重要意義。
