Abstract前兩章節結合敦煌和東瀛唐代華嚴經變相,論證了寶頂大佛灣第14號窟題材不是密教曼荼羅( Mandala),而是華嚴七處九會變相,以及現存六會的基本定名。後兩章節,受波士頓藏13世紀初東瀛圓覺經變相的啟示,對寶頂圓覺洞與安嶽華嚴洞的圖像和主佛身份作了研究,可以認定:唐末五代初,川密教主柳本尊(844-907)在宋代又被尊奉為華嚴宗第六代祖師。
