| Abstract | 20世紀初莫高窟遺書的發現，開啟了以變文為中心的敦煌佛教通俗文學研究熱潮，並直接影響到文學界將其他佛教文學現象也納入研究視野，王國維、鄭振鐸、胡適、周紹良等皆為代表。80年代以後，受海外啟示，國內史學、哲學、宗教學等領域特別是文學界的隋唐五代佛教文學研究方興未艾，成就輝煌，在項楚、孫昌武、陳允吉等老一輩學者的引領下，大批中青年學者相繼湧現。有關研究的跨學科性非常鮮明，研究角度更趨豐富，研究成果日漸精確，規範性和創新性都不斷加強。目前，亟需系統總結和學習上述成果；而以後的研究，當更深挖文學現象的佛教根源，具備大文化視野，且關注佛教界本身的文學現象，從而重寫隋唐五代佛教文學史。
The research upsurge of Buddhist literature about the Sui, Tang, and the five dynasties, which opened up owing to the finding of Dunhuang manuscripts at the opening of the last century, has been prolonged by now, and has achieved notable results. This paper has reviewed and summarized the study at home and abroad up till now, and puts forward some new thoughts for writing the history of Buddhist literature in these dynasties. |
