| Abstract | With the present paper I explore the notion of a Paccekabuddha as reflected in the Isigili-sutta of the Majjhima-nikàya and its Ekottarika-àgama parallel. After providing an annotated translation of the Ekottarika-àgama version, I compare the two discourses with particular emphasis on the information they provide about the concept of a Paccekabuddha. |
