| Abstract | 明復法師著作等身，無論在佛教文史、禪門詩畫與佛教的現當代問題等都有深入研究。他的創作作品中有五本國劇劇本，其中目連救母劇本的創作價值值得討論，因為目連戲雖然源自佛教的題材，卻早已融合中國的思想與民間信仰。佛教界向來喜以目連救母為例解釋佛教亦重視孝道，不違背中國重視倫理的文化傳統。明復法師在一般社會早已熟悉的目連故事中重新創作此劇，其創作意圖為何，乃本文研究的目的。本文包括目連故事的發展演變以作為法師創作之比較基礎，其次說明劇本的敘事情節分析，以把握劇本特色，最後說明明復法師的劇本的價值。經過分析發現明復法師創作意圖有回歸佛教大乘思想的立場，去除荒誕不經的神話情節破除迷信的用意。在目連救母故事中增加降魔一段情節，使救母與度化地獄眾生成為菩薩成佛道上的重要考驗。唱詞優美，刻畫人物身分貼切。此劇本具有矯正傳統以來目連戲的民間信仰與民眾的錯誤認知用意，因此可推知明復法師的創作實有隱喻佛教戲劇應該具有宏揚大乘佛法與傳播正信佛教的意圖。
Bhikkhu Ming Fu had many works about Buddhism and were sured He wrote five drama works, I think it will be discussed that Mulian save his mother. The story of Mulian save his mother were spreaded since long time，there were Chinese culture about the cnntents. I will study why Bhikkhu Ming Fu wrote the story in peking opera. Bhikkhu Ming Fu would Buddhism by people and deleted myth. He saved plots of children should loved their parents. Bhikkhu Ming Fu haped write pure Buddhism opera. |
