Abstract 本研究之目的在探討『正念靜坐』對國小學童專注力之效果。本研究以『前後測設計』之準實驗研究法進行實驗,以國小四年級學童為對象,共計五十人,其中25位為實驗組另外25位為控制組,實驗組學童在練習正念靜坐十二週前、後採用周台傑等人編製之『多向度注意力測驗』作為衡量專注力程度的測驗工具,並利用SPSS 18.0版之統計軟體進行獨立樣本單因子共變數分析來處理相關數據資料,作為評估學童的專注力是否有所改善的依據。本研究主要研究發現:經過正念靜坐訓練後,學童在『多向度專注力測驗』之持續性專注力之分測驗分數優於未參加靜坐之學童,顯示正念靜坐有助於國小學童專注力的提升。

The purpose of this research was to study the influence of mindfulness meditation on the fourth grade elementary school students' ability to concentrate. This study was a quasi-experimental design with subjects of 50 4th grade students in New Taipei City, with 25 in experimental group and 25 in the control group. The experimental group participated in mindfulness meditation activities for three months but the control group did not. Outcome measure: Multidimensional Attention Test was used to evaluate the children's attention before and after the intervention. The data were analyzed with repeated measure ANOVA. The results revealed following findings: after mindfulness meditation training, the students had significantly higher scores than those who were in the control group. Meditation helped the elementary school students enhance the ability of sustained attention.
