| Abstract | 《金光明最勝王經變》最早出現于敦煌吐蕃期洞窟壁畫中。綜觀《金光明最勝王經》內容,主要表現的是護世護法的思想主旨,這種思想恰與當時敦煌人在經過和吐蕃近二十年長期戰爭所帶來的混亂、貧困、痛苦相呼應,表明了當時人們在經過長年戰爭后渴望和平的心愿。
The present paper studies the reasons why the mural pictures based on the Buddhist Golden Light Scriptures in the Dunhuang Grottoes were made in the period when the Tibetan Kingdom prospered. The Golden Light Scriptures advocates promotion of peace and observation of laws, which coincides with the people’s longing for a peaceful and orderly world after two decades of warfare. |
