| Abstract | 回鶻是敦煌歷史上比較重要而富有影響的古代民族之一。他們在這裡有過長達數百年之久的歷史活動，並在這裡留下了相當豐富的文化遺產，舉其要者主要有敦煌石窟出土的古代回鶻語文獻、回鶻文木活字、回鶻人在敦煌莫高窟和安西榆林窟開鑿的佛教石窟和遊人香客於石窟壁面上題寫的回鶻文題記。這些對研究古代回鶻的歷史文化具有重要意義，同時也證明，輝煌燦爛的古代敦煌文化是包括回鶻人在內的各民族共同創造的。
Uyghurs were one of the most important and influential ancient nationalities in Dunhuangs' history. They lived there over hundreds of years and left behind rich cultural heritage, such as ancient Uyghur document unearthed in Dunhuang caves, movable wooden Uyghur letters, Buddhist stone caves dug by the Uyghurs in Dunhuang Mogao Caves and Anxi Yulin Caves, and the Uyghur inscriptions written by tourists and believers in cave walls. These are significant in studying
Uyghur history and culture, and at the same time, proves that the splendid Dunhuang culture was jointly created by all
nationalities including the Uyghurs. |
