The prevention of corporate immorality underscores the importance of corporate ethics. A lack of corporate ethics is a reflection of what the given business environment may be, which itself is a question on the virtue of society at large. Hence, to address the problem, we should start with the rehabilitation of the moral values of society. As Venerable Master Hsing Yun spreads Humanistic Buddhism across Taiwan, Mainland China and worldwide, and as its moral ethics become widely accepted in society, Humanistic Buddhism will prove to be an important contributor to the moral education of any given enterprise. Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s writings provide excellent guidelines for corporate values in business management, social corporate responsibility, labor management, and occupational ethics. The development of wisdom and skills, through the modern management philosophy of Humanistic Buddhism, can help to create a business environment that is skilled both technically and morally. These teachings can help any business achieve their objectives.
