| Abstract | 佛教道德是佛教淨化人間的重要資源，歷來受到星雲大師的高度重視。人間佛教通過「三好」、「四給」等一系列的實踐，為佛教道德的認同與落實尋找可行的出路。佛教道德因其所具有的理論支撐而建構了一種內在驅動機制，從而獲得了倫理的主體性，使佛教道德的落實成為一種積極主動的實踐過程。佛教道德所具有的文化個性，使其同其他道德有了明顯的區別，並與個人現實生活產生了深度的關聯。
Venerable Master Hsing Yun emphasizes the significance of Buddhist ethics in the purification of the human world. Buddhist ethics are exhibited, epitomized and made viable through the Humanistic Buddhist praxis such as the Three Acts of Goodness and the Four Givings. The fundamental Buddhist ethical theory allows an individual to act out of one’s personal restraint and inner will, yet still grounded and guided by Buddhist ethical framework. Hence, Buddhist ethics are perceived as a proactive and practical process. More so, Buddhist ethics are distinct from other ethical systems because of cultural characteristics. As such, it becomes more relevant and connected to one’s personal life. |
