| Abstract | 近代以來，上海居士群體處於複雜的時代與環境下，為尋求傳統佛教在現代社會中的發展與生存，對佛教文化的傳播模式進行了多元化的有益探索，具體舉措包括創辦報刊雜誌、無線電台等媒體機構，開設公益性佛教圖書館，乃至結合素食文化以推廣佛教文化等，試圖為現代社會提供佛化生活的系統解決方案。這些探索與創新不但促進了傳統佛教的現代轉型，同時為人間佛教的理論系統提供了有力詮釋和例證，以及切實可循的參照對象與實現路徑。
In modern times, lay Buddhist organizations in Shanghai find themselves in a complex era and environment. With regard to transmission modes of Buddhist culture, useful explorations in diversity have been carried out to find ways for traditional Buddhism to develop and survive in contemporary society. These include the establishment of newspapers and magazines, radio stations, and other media institutions. In addition, public Buddhist libraries have been set up, and Buddhist culture promoted through vegetarianism. These attempt to provide a systematic solution in leading a Buddhist lifestyle in contemporary society. These explorations and innovations not only promote the modern transformation of traditional Buddhism, but also provide a powerful annotation and example for the theoretical system of Humanistic Buddhism, as well as a practical reference and realization of the path. |
