Abstract叢林教育是中國漢傳佛教的傳統寺院教育,狹義的理解專指禪宗寺院教育,但也可以包括其他宗派的寺院教育。叢林教育以適應寺院生活為基本任務,以領悟佛門心法為終極目標,本文立足于對歷代高僧的類型分析,認為"叢林教育興于清規,立于傳法,成于心法"。叢林教育的特色是各宗各派、不同祖庭各有自己的宗風與祖道。當前的佛學教育應當弘揚宗風,振興祖道,重視和延續漢傳佛教傳統的叢林教育。
