This article will discuss about the philosophy of effective altruism, also introduce the process and criteria that GiveWell used to point out the most cost-effective organization. Besides, GiveWell's work illustrate why cost-effectiveness is so important for NGO, since people will become more and more hesitate to donate those NGO without recommendation.
As one of the most effective disaster rescues organization, Tzu-Chi has contributed huge recourse to help victims of natural disaster. This article will show up those effective operations in disaster rescues by Tzu-Chi, and suggest it to create its own model so as to evaluate its effectiveness.
