| Abstract | 「台灣三摩地村」位於斯里蘭卡南部，是2004年南亞大海嘯的重建計畫之一，由一位長住台灣的斯籍僧人募款所建，屬南傳上座部佛教。本文藉由參與這項跨國慈善計畫的兩名台灣志玉之敘說分析，討論她們從非佛教或漢傳佛佛教「改宗」到南傳上座部佛教的原因，及其從事志工的經驗。
”Taiwan Samadhigama” locates in southern Sri Lanka and is one of the post-tsunami reconstruction aid projects. The fund for the project was raised by a Sri Lankan monk who had been a long term resident in Taiwan. This essay will discuss the experiences of two Taiwanese volunteers who had been involved in this project. The discussion will focus on their experiences of religious conversion and as Buddhist aid workers. |
