| Abstract | The transcript below documents a dialogue held at the Higashi Honganji in Kyoto, on May 21, 2013, between representatives of the Shinshū Ōtani-ha and a visiting group of Anglican Christians from the Leicester Diocese of the Church of England. The status of both groups was informal. The discussion was held mainly in English with occasional points being interpreted into or from Japanese. The transcript has been edited for smoother reading, and some general headings have been added which indicate the main topics. |
