| Abstract | 印順法師在臺灣曾創建:福嚴精舍、慧日講堂、妙雲蘭若、華雨精 舍四個道場，華雨精舍是此四道場中最晚創建的，也是他晚年休養的地 方。本文想要探討的是:印順法師為何選在臺中建立華雨精舍?他在華 雨精舍住錫期間曾經歷過那些事情?和佛教界那些人物有過怎樣的互 動?在這段期間曾經寫下那些文章?出版那些著作?華雨精舍在印順 法師畢生弘化過程中地位又是如何?全文從:印順法師在臺中建立華雨 精舍、華雨精舍時期與外界的互動、華雨精舍時期的寫作與出版等方面 進行說明，希望透過本研究，可以呈顯印順法師在其「華雨精舍時期」 之部分史事，以作為我們評價他一生的參考。
In his life, Master Yin-Shun built four dharma communities in Taiwan- Fuyan Buddhist Institute, Light of Wisdom Dharma Hall, Miao-Yun Monastery and Hua-Yu Monastery. Among the four, Hua-Yu was the last to be established and was also his shelter for the late stage of his life. This thesis attempts to investigate the following queries: Why did the Master choose to build Hua-Yu Monastery in Taichung? What happened during his stay at this monastery? How was his interaction with other Buddhist figures during this period? What works did he complete later in life? What works were published? What was the significance of this monastery in the Master's life of dharma propagation? The thesis starts from the Master's founding Hua-Yu Monastery, his interaction with the outer world during his stay there. It also elaborates on his writing and publishing during this period. Through discovering and presenting the history of the Master's life and work in Hua- Yu Monastery, this research may become a reference for our evaluation of his legacy. |
