| Abstract | 불교의 수행은 일반적으로 크게 두 가지로 분류된다. 하나는 自力的 禪修行이며, 다른 하나는 종교적 믿음에 의한 정토수행이다. 그러나 이러한 수행은 특이성과 동질성, 그리고 일치성을 갖는다. 특이성이란 선은 현세에서 자력으로 수행하여 깨달음을 완성하여 성불하는 것이고, 정토란 아미타불의 本願力과 자비에 의존하여 왕생하여 不退轉에 이르러 성불하는 것이다. 그리고 선과 정토의 동질성이란 그 수행방법은 달라도 목적이나 과정에 있어서도 상보적인 입장에 있다. 그래서 선과 정토는 궁극적으로 일치성을 갖는다. 이러한 선과 정토의 관계는 중국의 여러 선사와 한국의 고려와 조선대의 선사들에 의해서 입증되고 있다. 특히 몇 명을 제외한 중국의 禪宗과 道信․永明延壽 등 그리고 한국의 高麗 普照知訥과 朝鮮의 懶庵普雨․西山休靜 등은 이를 입증해 주고 있다. 따라서 선과 정토의 수행은 自力的인 수행과 他力的인 신앙으로 특성과 상보성을 가지면서 수행에 있어서 궁극적으로 일치성을 갖는다고 하겠다.
The practice of Buddhistic discipline is, in general, a two class in large-scale. One thing is Meditation`s practice by one` own strength, another is Pure Land discipline of religious belief. However, this discipline has peculiar quality and the same quality, and harmonious quality. Peculiar quality is called, that practice of Meditation completed enlightenment on discipline over pull oneself up by one`s own bootstraps in this world, Pure Land is called, that discipline of Pure Land completed enlightenment, which raised stage`s position without withdrawal by gone in Pure Land as depend on Amitabha Buddha`s vow and mercy. And Seon and Pure Land`s the same quality is called, that discipline`s way is different but that is a complementary position in a goal or a process. So Seon and Pure Land has consentaneity. This Seon and Pure Land`s relationship has made good by China`s several a Seon master and Korea`s Goryeo and Joseon`s Seon masteres. Abide from some Seon master, particularly, this give proof by China`s the Seon sect and Dochin(道信)․Youngmyung Yeonsoo(永明延壽) and so on Korea`s Goryeo`s Bojo Chinul(普照知訥) Joseon`s Naam Bou(懶庵普雨)․Seosan Hyuchong(西山体靜) etc. Therefore it has finally consentaneity, which is Meditation and Pure-Land`s discipline that has practice of one`own strength, which faith of the power of another, with characteristic and complementarity in practice austerities. |
