Abstract | 'An Account of Asoka's Parinibbāna' (Asokaparinibbānakathā) is a little known Pali text from mainland South East Asia. The edition and translation reproduced here are based on one Khom manuscript from Wat Phra Chetuphon in Bangkok, and one Mūl manuscript, originally from Cambodia, but now kept at the École française d’Extrême-Orient in Paris. |
